A more than 2500 m2 large outdoor shopping area is open to visitors at Akropole

Providing people with an opportunity for safe and comfortable shopping for new Spring season goods, while at the same time respecting the willingness of our tenants to work, from today, 23 April, an outdoor shopping area at Akropole shopping and entertainment centre with a total space of 2537 square metres is open to visitors. In the following two weeks it will be open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays –– 23, 24, and 25 April, as well as 30 April and 1, 2 May. Depending on future regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers, the outdoor shopping area could continue its operations longer. Visitors of the outdoor shopping area will be able to try on and purchase sports and leisure clothing, footwear and accessories. At the same time, visitors will have the opportunity to also purchase their favourite cosmetics and perfume brands in person.

Sports and leisure clothing and footwear for women, men and children will be sold by "Nike", "Sportland", and "Sports Direct", while the sale of cosmetics and perfumes from a range of world-famous brands will be offered by the store "Douglas". Providing a wider availability of goods for children, the sale of spring and summer shoes will also be provided by the specialized children's shoe store "Milani".

“We are aware that our tenants and visitors are very eager to resume a comprehensive shopping experience indoors, therefore we are very happy that in light of the imposed restrictions and observing all required safety measures, that we can offer a possibility to try on and purchase various essential products in person and in the fresh air. If the restrictions imposed throughout the country related to sales indoors will not be changed in the next two weeks, we will evaluate the possibility to continue this type of shopping in the future,” emphasizes Zane Kaktiņa, the Manager of the Akropole shopping and entertainment centre.

The Akropole shopping and entertainment centre ensures all the necessary measures for safe and convenient shopping. Visitors should note that face masks must be worn in the outdoor shopping area. In order to regulate the flow of visitors, the entrance and exit are organized in separate places, with the aim of minimizing the risks of crowding. At the same time, hand sanitizers have been installed in the outdoor shopping area and security guards will monitor the flow of shoppers, so all epidemiological requirements are fulfilled. The outdoor shopping area territory is protected and has video surveillance.

On the above-mentioned dates, the outdoor shopping area will be open and available to visitors from 10.00 to 21.00. Representatives of the shops operating in the outdoor shopping area will help the visitors with consultations in person about product sizes, correct usage and care. The outdoor shopping area is located at the Akropole B Entrance.
