AKROPOLE Rīga will celebrate its sixth birthday with a grand party and an acoustic concert by Chris Noah

The shopping and entertainment centre (hereinafter – SC) AKROPOLE Rīga will celebrate its sixth birthday on Saturday, 5 April. Visitors are invited to join in a day-long celebration with special offers and discounts in stores, activities with prizes, and delicious and creative masterclasses for both young and old. DJ LEVEL UP and Mārtiņš Počs will provide an unforgettable atmosphere, and the festival will be closed with an acoustic concert by musician Chris Noah.

Work on improving the shopping experience continues

Following the visitors’ wishes and needs, 11 new stores, sales islands and service providers opened in 2024 in the SC AKROPOLE Rīga – the king of sports footwear JD Sports, interior design store ALANDEKO, jewellery store Fashion Zone, mobile phone and tablet accessory store Case4you, iconic brand Guess, French premium handbag retailer Jump Paris, lingerie store Penti, financial services group Indexo, Japanese pop culture store animaji, phone and computer repair store iSupport, and Timberland clothing and footwear store. Also this year, there are a number of surprises awaiting visitors, including the new Sportland, Sinsay and Lindex stores, as well as salon Hair Riga.

In addition to the changes and additions to the tenant list, this year, AKROPOLE Rīga will also see improvements to its facilities and infrastructure, with improvements to the indoor seating areas, including additional plants in the corridors. To improve the family experience at the SC, improvements will be made to the parent’s rooms, and a project will be developed to install new electrical charging stations. Changes will also be made to the concept of the SC grounds and parking greenery.

A diverse festive programme for the entire family

To celebrate the birthday of AKROPOLE Rīga, an exciting entertainment programme for both young and old will be awaiting visitors on 5 April from 13.00 to 18.00 in the event area. Everyone is invited to participate in an artificial intelligence photo activity, various activities with prizes from AKROPOLE Rīga stores and service outlets such as Case4you, MicaBeauty, O’Learys, Sportland, Apollo Kino, TET, TopShop, Stenders, Vairāk Saules, Animaji, Coverme, Caffeine, Narvesen, Lloyd, Euroaptieka, Lemon Gym, Čili Pizza, Evelatus, and Domino’s Pizza. Visitors will also be able to participate in several spring-themed masterclasses, as well as enjoy performances by dancers of various genres.

DJ LEVEL UP and event host Mārtiņš Počs will provide an exciting atmosphere during the celebration, and at the end of the festival, at 18.00, visitors will be treated to an acoustic concert by the rising Latvian star – musician Chris Noah.

All activities will take place in the event area between entrances A and F from 13.00 to 18.00 and are free of charge. Full programme is available here.

Alongside the festive programme, AKROPOLE Rīga visitors will also be entertained on 5 April by Radio EHR SuperHits DJ Stocka, who invites everyone interested in skating and partying to the “Ice, Ice Party” at the shopping centre’s Ice Arena. The party on ice will take place from 17.00–18.00 and from 19.00–20.00. Places are limited, so please register early.
