By taking care of the safety and health of employees and visitors, from today until 14 April Akropole Shopping and Entertainment Centre is shortening its opening hours. For one month, the working hours of the shopping and entertainment centre and its tenants will be from 11.00 until 21.00, while Euroaptieka and Maxima XXX supermarket will continue to work as normal. The decision was made in connection with the state of emergency announced throughout the country with the goal of restricting the spread of coronavirus and the disease it causes Covid-19.
Since 27 February, Akropole Shopping and Entertainment Centre has implemented several preventive measures. Hand disinfectant agents have been installed at each entrance of the shopping centre, and in addition to standard cleaning requirements, surfaces that people touch are being cleaned on an increased basis with disinfectants. Akropole’s ventilation systems have been switched from circulation mode to fresh air mode.
Likewise the shopping and entertainment centre’s tenants, and catering companies in particular, are being advised to consolidate safety measures, disinfecting premises and surfaces and keeping track of their employees’ state of health. Disinfectants and disposable gloves are available in Maxima XXX supermarket’s shopping trolleys and baskets. In addition, the shop’s premises and surfaces that people come into contact with are being disinfected much more regularly. For example, shopping trolley and basket handles are being disinfected five times a day and card readers and other surfaces are also being regularly disinfected.
Akropole Shopping and Entertainment Centre will continue to follow the recommendations of the Ministry of Health and the Cabinet of Ministers and is ready to implement additional safety measures if necessary. We invite you to keep track of the latest information on the Akropole homepage and on social media.
