Two sports and leisure good stores: USC and Sports Direct have opened at the multifunctional shopping and entertainment centre Akropole. While this will be the third Sports Direct store in Latvia, the USC brand is making its debut in the Baltic market. The newly opened stores will be a valuable addition to the existing range of fashion and lifestyle goods brands, impressive entertainment zone and extensive dining offers.

The Baltic market debutant USC is more focused on youth audience, offering the younger generation a wide range of leisure apparel and footwear. The brand’s spokespersons explain that nowadays there is no longer any strict boundary between everyday clothing and high exclusive fashion, otherwise known as high-fashion. Therefore, USC offers the most extensive range of the world’s most popular brands, at the same time offering an authentic shopping experience for any European and now also Latvian shopper. Customers visiting this 700 m2 USC store will have the chance to buy footwear and clothing from brands including Alpha Industries, Calvin Klein, Diesel, Emporio Armani, Lacoste and Tommy Hilfiger, etc.
Latvia’s biggest Sports Direct store in the Akropole shopping and entertainment centre will be accessible to visitors across an area of 1066 m2. Although this is Sports Direct’s third store in Latvia, the store at Akropole offers a brand-new concept in terms of both interior and product range. This newly opened "mecca" for active leisure lovers offers products for sports, leisure and outdoors pursuits, representing brands such as Nike, Adidas, Puma, Karrimor, Reebok, Lonsdale, Under Armour, Sketchers and many others.
Akropole shopping and entertainment centre presents not only fashion and lifestyle goods brands that are well-known and popular with shoppers, but also brands that are making their first appearance in Latvia, as well as 30 restaurants and cafés to suit various tastes, a large all year skating rink, cinema with nine movie theatres (including the first IMAX movie theatre in Latvia), a spacious and elegant Maxima XXX supermarket, modern gym, and outdoor kids’ playground. The O’Learys entertainment zone offers bowling, billiards, sports game simulators and other exciting leisure and entertainment options for all the family.
