2020-10-09

Today, on 9 October, a new leisure footwear store, Ballzy Ice, the first store of its concept in the Baltics, opened its doors in the shopping and entertainment centre "Akropole". Many will recognise Ballzy as a specialised basketball store, so far the largest in Latvia and Northern Europe. Now the brand is introducing the Latvian people to Ballzy Ice, a new concept which offers a wide range of leisure footwear for different tastes from such global brands as Jordan, Nike, Adidas, Vans, Puma, Converse, Karhu, and Crep Protect.

Till now certain Ballzy stores have already been successfully operating not only in Latvia, but also in Estonia and Finland, gaining the trust of customers with their bright interior, high-class products, and professional attitude regarding the needs of each visitor. By continuing its development in the Baltic States, the shopping and entertainment centre "Akropole" is chosen as the new home for the new store in Latvia. Each concept store is created with a unique interior and specific design.

“We are very pleased that the new Ballzy Ice store will be located in “Akropole”, the newest and most modern shopping centre in Latvia, a place that provides its visitors with a truly special fashion and entertainment experience; just like any of Ballzy stores, which is a unique name and design space with a special atmosphere. Unfortunately, in order to take care of the health and safety of our customers, we have decided to abandon wider public activities for marking the opening of the Ballzy Ice store. However, to celebrate the arrival of this new concept in Latvia, several pleasant surprises and special offers will await the store’s visitors during its opening week,” promises Austris Krūmiņš, a Ballzy Ice representative.

"We are very pleased to expand our circle of tenants with the new Ballzy Ice concept store, offering our clients even more shopping opportunities and making sure that everyone has the opportunity to find what they need in one place, both for everyday and for special moments. I am convinced that the conspicuous interior, positive atmosphere, and latest collections of the Ballzy Ice store will attract not only fans of casual and sporty styles, but also people who look to combine comfort and individuality,” emphasises Zane Kaktiņa, the CEO of shopping and entertainment centre “Akropole”.

The new Ballzy Ice store is located on the 1st floor of the “Akropole” shopping and entertainment centre, between the E and F entrances. Everyone is welcome to visit the store and browse its diverse array of world-famous brands every day from 10:00 to 22:00. In honour of the opening of the store, from 9 October to 16 October, Ballzy Ice store is gifting all of its customers a 20% discount on all goods.

In order to make shopping convenient, enjoyable, and above all safe in the current circumstances, “Akropole” continues preventive safety measures and as well as has introduced new solutions, such as disinfection of escalator handrails with UV light, air purification equipment in all elevators, and other precautions and disinfection measures, for the safety of both “Akropole” visitors and its staff.
