Support four-legged friends: AKROPOLE shopping centres are launching a charity campaign with the animal shelter Labās mājas
Starting from Monday, June 21, the shopping and entertainment centre “Akropole” in cooperation with the National Health Service and “Veselības centrs 4” will expand the possibilities of vaccination against Covid-19 by providing another vaccination point in its premises. The admission of residents will be provided both by prior appointment on the website manavakcina.lv and in free queue mode.

“Although there are currently no unoccupied premises in “Akropole” shopping centre and all stores have successfully resumed operations, we have agreed with our partners - the National Health Service and Veselības centrs 4 - that we will place a vaccination point in one of the wide corridors of the centre, giving visitors the added opportunity to go to the vaccination point even without a prior appointment - by joining the free queue. We expect that a certain number of our visitors will highly appreciate the opportunity to save time and get vaccinated at the same time as making purchases,” says Zane Kaktiņa, shopping and entertainment centre Akropole manager.
The new vaccination point will be located in the corridor of the 1st floor of “Akropole” between the E and F entrances. As before, the possibility to get vaccinated against Covid-19 will be also provided by the vaccination office in the “Akropole” branch of “Veselības centrs 4”, which will serve visitors only by prior appointment.
Džeina Mežale, the Vaccination Project Manager of SIA “Veselības centrs 4” points out: "We are currently looking for ways to make the vaccination process against Covid-19 as accessible as possible to the general public. By setting up vaccination points in shopping centres, we hope to reach the part of society that wants to be vaccinated and to do it quickly, combining receiving the vaccine with shopping.”
