INTERNAL PROCEDURES FOR VISITORS
These terms of use of the shopping and entertainment centre "Akropole Rīga" (hereinafter – SEC "Akropole Rīga") and the adjacent territory at Maskavas Street 257, Riga (hereinafter – "Terms") are binding on all visitors and guests of SEC "Akropole Rīga". The premises and territory of SEC "Akropole Rīga" are publicly accessible places and, accordingly, the visitors and guests of the SEC are also bound by the Riga City Council Regulations No. 80 Public Order Regulations in Riga of 19.06.2007, as well as all other binding laws and regulations.
The working hours of SEC "Akropole Rīga" are as follows:
- Daily from 10:00 to 21:00;
- The MAXIMA XXX supermarket, cinema, bank branches, and restaurants located in SEC "Akropole Rīga" work by their individually determined schedules;
- Other working hours, information about which is published on the website www.akropoleriga.lv
The supervision of the order on the premises of SEC "Akropole Rīga" and in the territory adjacent to SEC "Akropole Rīga" is handled by the security service staff (hereinafter – the Security Service), and visitors and guests of SEC "Akropole Rīga" must follow the instructions of the employees of the Security Service.
Video surveillance operates on the premises of SEC "Akropole Rīga" and in the adjacent territory of SEC "Akropole Rīga".
The following is prohibited on the premises of SEC "Akropole Rīga" and in the adjacent territory of SEC "Akropole Rīga":
- Entering the premises before the specified working hours, as well as being in SEC "Akropole Rīga" premises after the specified working hours, except in cases when it has been agreed upon with the administration of SEC "Akropole Rīga";
- Entering the premises of the SEC service rooms without prior registration with the Security Service of SEC "Akropole Rīga" or without an access card issued by SEC "Akropole Rīga", or without permission from the administration of SEC "Akropole Rīga”;
- Damaging the property of SEC "Akropole Rīga" on the premises, i.e., inventory, equipment, houseplants, flowerpots, benches, waste bins, etc.;
- Damaging the property of SEC "Akropole Rīga", i.e., lawns, trees, greenery, flowerpots, benches, waste bins, etc.;
- Littering on the premises and the adjacent territory of SEC "Akropole Rīga";
- Disturbing other visitors of SEC "Akropole Rīga", i.e., making noise and failing to comply with the established procedure, as well as physically or morally offending other visitors of the centre;
- Filming or photographing without prior coordination with the administration of SEC "Akropole Rīga", except within the framework of marketing activities (participation) organised by SEC "Akropole Rīga";
- Advertising of any kind of product and distributing advertising materials without prior approval of the administration of the SEC;
- Carrying out any kind of trade without coordination with the administration of the SEC;
- Smoking and vaping inside SEC "Akropole Rīga", as well as in the prohibited areas outside SEC "Akropole Rīga" and no closer than 10 meters from the entrance to SEC "Akropole Rīga";
- Consuming alcoholic beverages outside the designated places, i.e., cafes, restaurants, and cinemas, as well as being on the premises and territory of SEC "Akropole Rīga" under the influence of alcohol and/or psychotropic substances;
- Entering SEC "Akropole Rīga" in an inappropriate appearance and/or naked;
- Riding an electric scooter, scooter, roller skates, skateboard, or bicycle on the premises of SEC "Akropole Rīga", as well as using the parking lots or the terrace of the centre for these sporting activities;
- Entering and being on the premises of SEC "Akropole Rīga" with animals, except in cases when a small domestic (room) animal is carried in the hands;
- Parking of cars in unforeseen places, failing to observe traffic signs/indications and markings on the road or at the curbs;
- Bringing flammable, explosive substances into the territory and premises of SEC "Akropole Rīga";
- Entering the SEC territory or premises carrying firearms, cold weapons, and special devices, except in cases when the duties of service are performed;
- Failing to comply with the fire safety norms specified in the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia and using fire extinguishers, fire alarm buttons, fire cabinet equipment and other fire safety devices without authorisation, except in cases where fire has occurred in the SEC, or there is some other emergency;
- Using escape stairs and doors of SEC "Akropole Rīga", except in cases when an emergency has occurred in SEC "Akropole Rīga", and an evacuation has been announced;
- Not leaving the SEC premises immediately upon hearing the fire alarm siren or evacuation announcement;
- Leaving the shopping carts of the shops in places not intended for, outside the shopping cart storages located outside SEC "Akropole Rīga" and on the territory;
- Organising any events/campaigns/mass gatherings on the premises and/or territory of SEC "Akropole Rīga" without a prior written agreement with the Administration of SEC "Akropole Rīga";
- Placing or using mobile advertising trailers or cars with placed advertisements (or similar objects) without a prior written agreement with the Administration of SEC "Akropole Rīga".
The Security Service of SEC "Akropole Rīga" is entitled to:
- Expel persons who do not comply with the Rules of SEC "Akropole Rīga";
- Inspect suspicious persons, objects, etc.;
- Detain persons who engage in illegal activities or do not comply with the Rules of the SEC until the police arrive.
SEC "Akropole Rīga" does not assume responsibility for:
- Any objects/belongings or other things left unattended or forgotten on the premises or territory of SEC "Akropole Rīga";
- Safety and security of electric scooters, bicycles, cars or other means of transport left on the premises or territory of SEC "Akropole Rīga", or any belongings therein.
Shopping and entertainment centre “AKROPOLE RĪGA”
Terms of use of the parking lot
- These Terms of Use (hereinafter – Terms) of the Shopping and Entertainment Centre "Akropole" (hereinafter – "Akropole") at Salaspils Street 4 and Maskavas Street 257, Riga (hereinafter – Parking Lot) are binding on all users of the Akropole Parking Lot (hereinafter – Customers). In the sense of these regulations, parking areas, sidewalks, and adjoining territory (lawns, etc.) located in the territory of the "Akropole" shall be considered a Parking Lot. The parking area is private property.
- In the sense of these Terms, a vehicle (hereinafter – Vehicle) is considered to be a vehicle registered by the procedures specified in the regulatory acts with appropriately installed state registration number plates, while electric scooters, bicycles, skateboards, etc. are considered means of transportation (hereinafter – Means of Transportation).
- These Terms, based on Articles 1428, 1535 and 1537 of the Civil Law, are a contract for the use of the Parking Lot, which is concluded between absent parties. The contract for the use of the Parking Lot is concluded when the Customer arrives at the Parking Lot, expressing their will and consent to enter into it. The Customer in the sense of these regulations is considered the actual user or owner (keeper) of the Vehicle or Means of Transportation.
- Stopping and parking of Vehicles and Means of Transportation in the Parking Lot is allowed only in appropriately marked places, in compliance with the Terms, the road traffic procedures specified in regulatory acts, road signs, informational signs, horizontal road markings, and without hindering the use of the Parking Lot for other Customers. It is forbidden to park Vehicles closer than five meters from the entrances/exits of the Akropole.
- Sharing service providers of the Vehicles and Means of Transportation (and/or their collaborators) are prohibited from parking/leaving Vehicles and/or Means of Transportation intended for the sharing in the Parking Lot, except in cases where such placement/leaving in the Parking Lot has been previously agreed upon in writing with SIA M257 and/or a relevant cooperation agreement has been concluded. Only Vehicles and Means of Transportation are allowed to enter the Parking Lot. The Means of Transportation may only be locked to the racks placed for the purpose.
- In the Parking Lot, outside the parking time specified by the road signs, only Vehicles with special permits issued by SIA M257 (hereinafter – Permit) and Vehicles and Means of Transportation intended for shared use whose placement in the Parking Lot has been agreed upon with SIA M257 in advance and a relevant cooperation agreement has been concluded, may be parked. The Permit shall be placed on the front windshield of the Vehicle in a visible place. If the Permit is not an original issued by SIA M257, the Permit is not placed correctly, or the information on the right to use the Parking Lot specified in the Permit is illegible, it is considered that the Parking Lot is being used without a valid Permit.
- Customers are obliged to place the shopping carts of the stores in the Akropole in the designated shopping cart spaces and not to leave them in the Parking Lot in places not intended.
- Placing or offering advertising materials, advertising, distribution and/or sale of goods, and placing devices that play advertising audio materials or trailers with advertising materials without prior agreement with SIA M257 is prohibited. It is also prohibited to hold or organise any events/campaigns/mass gatherings in the Parking Lot without a prior written agreement with SIA M257. A penalty of EUR 500 is applicable for the violation of this clause.
- Supervision of the order on behalf of the owner of Akropole SIA M257 (registration No. 40003698645) in the Parking Lot is carried out by the security personnel of Akropole (hereinafter – Security Service) and Customers shall follow the instructions of the Security Service.
- Customers are responsible for the safety of the Vehicle and/or Means of Transportation parked in the Parking Lot and the property’s safety.
- SIA M257 is entitled to apply a contractual penalty of EUR 25 (twenty-five euros), for which a penalty receipt is issued, for each recorded case when the Parking Lot is used in violation of the requirements of Clause 4 or 5 of the Terms.
- Contractual penalty excludes the damages. The payment of the contractual penalty shall be made within 14 days from the issuance of the penalty receipt. After applying the contractual penalty, the Vehicle shall leave the Parking Lot immediately.
- In cases of violation of Clause 5 or 6 of the Terms, SIA M257 has the right to move the Vehicle or, based on the Articles 1735 and 1736 of the Civil Law, use the right of detention. The costs of moving the Vehicle are covered by the Customer. The use of the right of retention of the Vehicle is terminated after the payment of the applied penalty.
- SIA M257 shall not assume responsibility for:
- A Vehicle left in the Parking Lot and its safety, the property in it or its security;
- Any unattended or forgotten objects/belongings and other things in the Parking Lot.
- The Security Service has the right to:
- After finding a violation of one of the regulatory acts or a clause of the Terms, invite the supervisory authorities to record the violation and apply an administrative penalty;
- Take a photo and video recording, which are considered evidence of the actual circumstances of the detected violation;
- Inspect suspicious persons, objects, etc.;
- Detain persons who engage in illegal activities or do not comply with the Terms until the police arrive.
Shopping and entertainment centre “AKROPOLE RĪGA”
Internal Procedures for the Visitors
of the Children’s Recreation Grounds and Playground
These Internal Procedures for the Visitors of the Shopping and Entertainment Centre "Akropole Rīga" (hereinafter – SEC "Akropole Rīga") Children’s Recreation Grounds and Playground at Slāvu Street 2A, Riga (hereinafter – Children's Playground) are binding on all visitors of the Children's Playground. The Children's Playground is a publicly accessible place and, accordingly, the visitors and guests of the Children's Playground are also bound by the Riga City Council Regulations No. 80 Public Order Regulations in Riga of 19.06.2007, as well as all other binding laws and regulations.
The supervision of the order in the Children's Playground on behalf of SEC "Akropole Rīga" is handled by the security service staff (hereinafter – the Security Service), and visitors and guests shall follow the instructions of the employees of the Security Service.
The following is prohibited in the Children's Playground:
- Bringing and use of motorised vehicles;
- The lighting of bonfires;
- Breaking of branches of trees and bushes, damaging the bark, picking off leaves, flowers, and fruits, digging up or otherwise damaging the greenery;
- Littering in the Children's Playground (including glass containers), burying garbage in the sand;
- Without a permit issued by SEC "Akropole Rīga", carrying out any work in the Children's Playground;
- Engaging in business (providing services/trading);
- Moving/throwing of stones and pebbles, wood chips;
- Bringing in a dog without a muzzle and leash;
- Smoking, use of alcohol and/or intoxicating substances;
- Use of the equipment located in the Children's Playground for purposes it is not intended for (e.g., climbing on roofs, climbing over fences, etc.);
- Damaging the equipment in the Children's Playground;
- Presence of preschool age children without an accompanying adult person.
When using the facilities and equipment located in the Children's Playground, it shall be observed that:
- It is forbidden to lift children or otherwise help them get to the facilities/equipment or their parts which they cannot reach on their own, which means the relevant facility/equipment is not suitable for their age;
- Do not go near a carousel which someone is already riding;
- Do not be under nets that are being climbed on;
- Persons are responsible for their own safety and the safety of supervised persons when they are in or near play/amusement facilities;
- Be cautious, observe safety and good behaviour norms;
- Equipment can be used on a first-come, first-served basis, pushing over/harming others is not allowed.
SEC "Akropole Rīga" does not assume responsibility for:
- Losses, damages, and accidents that occur to a person or personal property while visiting/using the Children's Playground and its equipment;
- Any unattended or forgotten objects/belongings and other things.
The Security Service has the right to:
- Expel from the Children's Playground persons who do not comply with these Internal Procedures;
- Inspect suspicious persons, objects, etc.;
- Detain persons who engage in illegal activities or do not comply with the Internal Procedures until the police arrive.
